BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH (Written by F. Anthony Krogh):
"Born in Port of Spain, Trinidad on September 17, 1892 and died in the same city on December 11, 1987 at the age of 95. She was educated at St. Joseph's Convent, Port of Spain, where she was an outstanding student, winning a Silver Medal in the Cambridge School Certificate examinations. She married Robert Joseph Seheult (b. 1887, d. 1943) on February 22, 1922. They had no children.
"Lucie (known as "Cis") and Robert Seheult lived in Moruga, Trinidad, for many years where Robert managed an estate belonging to the Rostant family. On his retirement they moved to their own home in Robinson Circular on the Savannah in Arima--a few houses away from her mother's home. After her husband's death she moved in with her mother and sister Marguerite and lived in Arima until the mid-1960s, when she and Marguerite moved to 15 Saddle Road, Port of Spain, where they remained for the rest of their lives. She was a very devout Roman Catholic, an avid gardener, and a very good cook--especially for desserts. She remained very active right until her death."
